…and only 3 more days at work. Tomorrow is Germanys annual national holiday, therefore we do not have to work. It is a crazy thought that we only have to go to work 3 more times. The thought of being off for so long has motivated us a great deal during the past couple of weeks.
Earlier this summer we decided to part with our heavy canon equipment and started to sell the camera and lenses at ebay. It did not take long and everything was sold. For the money we decided to upgrade our Olympus stuff, get a second body to be more flexible and to get some prime lenses.
Last week as a sort of last minute purchase, I bought a 12mm f.2.0 Olympus lens at ebay. I assume that the seller did not have a clue that this lens is a premium lens cause I really made a bargain. I was a little bit nervous if I made the right choice but when the lens was in the mail I was really happy cause it is like new. Maybe used once or twice but not more than that.
Today we checked on our camera equipment and put everything together. I think we pretty well equiped now and we are so ready to leave for Norway.
We are going to take:
- Olympus OMD EM 10
- Olympus OMD EM 5
- 5 lenses (12mm f2.0, 20mm f1.7, 45mm f.1.8, 12-42mm f 3.5-5.6, 14-150mm f.3,5-5.6)
- a tripod
- 2 extra batteries for each camera
- battery charger for each camera
- ND filters (8x,64x,1000x)
- adapter rings for the ND filters
- remote control
- camera bag
It might look a lot at first but besides the tripod everything will fit in the camera bag.
Imagine taking two big Canons plus lenses… 🙂
