Iceland- road trip along the south coast

Below some pictures taken out of the car while driving along the south/south-east coast of Iceland. For everyone who loves roadtrips its perfect. To give you an idea about the distances: it takes about 2,5h to 3 hours from Reykjavik to Vik if you take route 1 and do not take any detours. From Vik to Jökulsarlon its another 2 to 3 hours. The distances are not too long but with a speed limit of 90 km/h you just cannot go that fast. Especially between Vik and Höfn it can snow. On our way back to Reykjavik we had sun, rain and for about 50km a snow covered road and a heavy snow storm. Always plan plenty of time to go from A to B cause there is just so much to see and the weather can change within 1 or 2 km. OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
